We train teachers at the highest level of Yoga Alliance Certification: 500 hours. We also offer 200 hour, upgrade courses, and Advanced Training programs. |

You will be eligible to teach your practicum training at Sunstone Yoga studios. We're highly motivated to train excellent instructors in fitness yoga techniques, and we're looking for students who are equally motivated to become excellent yoga teachers. A majority of our graduates teach for us today. |

| RYT 500 Hour Courses |
|
Our most advanced program for becoming a certified yoga instructor. Eligible for registration with Yoga Alliance at the 500 hour level. |

Allows you to teach at Sunstone Yoga studios. |
|
Weekend course takes approximately 6 – 10 months to complete, depending on your focus and determination. Course runs year round. Appropriate for local Dallas area trainees. |

300 Hour Upgrade Training

Allows registered yoga instructors at the 200 hour level to upgrade to 500 hours.

Applicants may test into the course to help us evaluate and structure course requirements to each individual. |

Upgrade students study with 500 hour students on weekends, intensive courses, or in correspondence training. |

Correspondence Training
|

Get started for $300. You can purchase the courses 1 module at a time and build toward ceritfication at your own pace.

You train on your own time.
|
|
200, 500 and Upgrade courses are available. |
|
Our 500 hour course earns certification with Sunstone Yoga and eligibility to teach in our studios. |
|
We are developing the most advanced online training tools available, including video recorded classes from our other training programs.
|
|
Guidance and mentorship are available through regular online testing, forum discussions, email exchanges, and taped submissions of your teaching practice.
|
|
You may attend classes at any Sunstone Yoga studio during your training period and participate in weekend or intensive training courses, if your schedule allows.
|
|
A computer and basic recording equipment is required for this course.
|
|

Level 2 Certified Yoga Specialist Training
|
10 day course includes 80+ hours of advanced training.
|
|
Classes include deep study of Anatomy and Physiology, the yogic subtle anatomy systems, advanced posture classes, creating your own sequences and managing private lessons, and advanced Pain Free YogaTM methodology and technique.
|
|
Minimum 200 hour RYT registration is required for this course.
|
|
Become a Certified Yoga Specialist with RYT500, Level 2 training, and an advanced practicum.
|
|

Be a Certified Demonstrator
|
|
For advanced practitioners to lead taped classes.
|
|
Requirements are a demonstrated ability to do the postures and a sound understanding of the Sunstone Yoga FIRE Series Sequence. |

Applicants will be tested by an E-RYT. |

Sunstone Yoga's Correspondence Training Course is divided into modules for Teaching Methodology, Yoga Lifestyle, Anatomy & Physiology, and Testing for Certification, in 5 distinct levels. Levels 1 - 3 complete the 200 hour training requirements and Levels 1 - 5 make up the full 500 hour course.
