From my experience of teaching the teacher trainers over the last two weeks I have witnessed great strength increase in all students trainers. Most of the trainers had never experienced Sunstone and the Wood class ever before and from what I have witnessed in two weeks in the individuals muscle strength in their bodies I would have to say with the combination of Wood and Fire on a daily basis their bodies are getting stronger as each day passes. I am amazed of the results Wood has had on their bodies in just over two weeks and I am excited to see what they will be like at the end of nine weeks.

I am very proud of the teacher trainers hard work and effort over these first intense weeks of training. For those of you not aware what a day in the life of a teacher trainer doing the nine week intensive is like here goes. 5am Wake up and go to the studio for 6am yoga either a Wood 30/30 or a Fire Day depending. Half hour break 8-9am Meditation. 9am -11am Philosophy. Half hour break. 11:30am 1pm Fire class. Half hour break to stuff what ever food they can in their body. 1:30pm-4:00pm Methodology they learn to teach a Fire class. Some days they will do an evening class too.
So for the regular students who are practicing in the yoga studios keep your eyes open for them (you cannot miss them they all have this constant wide eyes and a little glow about them and are laughing a lot), give them a hug or an encouraging smile it is probably their third class for the day.

How wonderful! I can only imagine how the world begins to look to someone enduring/participating in that kind of mind and body connection work! How cleansing the process must be...and what a beautiful objective to hold. I love the Sunstone teachers, so far. I've only experienced four of them in my first five classes, and have enjoyed each one so much. I now see why they seem so solid and well-prepared!

    Thank you, Sunstone!

The intensive program schedule has changed slightly since Nicole's original post. These days the intensive day starts at 6:30am with a Fire90 class, followed by 2 hours of methodology (teaching the Fire Series), a Fire 60 or Wood60 class, a lunch break, then 2 hours of either Anatomy & Physiology or more methodology, then a one-hour meditation, 2 hours pf Philosophy/Ethics/Lifestyle, then a 90-minute class (Earth, Metal, or Water) all ending at 8pm. Five days a week, for 8 weeks.

We are considered making some internal changes to the Intensive schedule but they have not yet been finalized. The start and end dates remain the same.
