Hello! I was looking over the PFY page and saw at the bottom a reference to an upcoming PFY workshop? If there is any news on an upcoming workshop I would love the information. I am experiencing some low back pain during and after practice and recently am having trouble with a lack of synchronicity in my poses. For example, in floor bow, my left foot is coming up about two inches higher than my right foot (this is new). I am not sure what is out of balance, but PFY seemed a great place to start looking for a solution.

    thanks for everything! Susan

Susan, the WOOD workshop will be offered over the weekend of 10/3/09 and 10/4/09. Please come and join other students and the Sunstone yoga teachers learn about the postures in WOOD class and why Pain Free Yoga works. Try to attend Wood class at least once a week until October, this will help bring balance back to your body. Hope to see you there. Barbara

Hello Barbara! thank you so much for responding.

I attended your fire 60 class at Huffines Plaza Monday the 3rd - and you gave me some suggestions for modifying poses.

I went to Wood class this past weekend, and stayed after with Jillian and asked some questions. I will definitely be coming to wood class more often - hopefully twice weekly. do you recommend more than that? I have also gone back to my Physical Therapist for some treatments. I teach Accounting at Collin College and in the fall and spring will be holding classes on Saturday mornings, so I will watch for a wood workshop that I can attend when class is not in session.

    thanks again for everything! Susan
