Hi everyone,
I am looking for a doctor referral in Dallas. I live in the White Rock Lake area.
I am not looking for a specialist per say, just a general practice.
There is no immediate need, but would like to find a doctor that is friendly, of course, and is open to alternative and holistic possibilities as a course of action.
A balanced doctor in western civ and eastern civ methods would be ideal.
I would like to sidestep the doctors that are too entrenched in the Pharmaceutical racket.
I would love to find a doctor that treats the patient and not the symptom.
Any referrals?
Thanks.

Clate: Dr. Alan Chen is in Plano so this may not work for you, but he is a TCM, but more importantly he has 5 medical specialities and practiced medicine in China for 25 years. 1. he is a medical doctor in China. 2. he is a surgeon who practiced in China. 3. he is an acupuncturist and is the 17th generation of acupuncturists in his family. 4.he is an herbologist/nutritionist, and 5. came to the USA and is also a chiropractor. I have been going to him for years and even though he cannot prescribe medications nor perform surgery here in the US, as he only has a Chinese License for such, he can practice acupuncture, chiropractic adjustments, and nutrition, but he is perfect then for an unbias opinion if you do in fact need surgery or medication. Telephone 972-599-0852.

Hi
Randy Schriewer,
Do you know if Dr. Chen works with insurance providers? I know some acupuncturists do...
Thanks,
Joe
