Any recommendations for yoga books, videos, or websites that I can use to learn some of the finer points of the postures taught in the classes?  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks!

I thought it would be really cool if Sunstone yoga had video clips of each of the postures with a text description of the proper technique on their website, although I realize that would be a pretty big project.  If proprietary isues are a concern, it could be made available only to members perhaps?

Tomo,

I'm not committing to it but it wouldn't surprise me if someday we have such video clips on the the site.

In the mean time did you know the the last 30 minutes of the Wood class is a posture lab? That means you can get hands on adjustments, ask questions, and perfect your postures. It is the next best thing to a private lesson. If you want to really get into it then Teacher Training is the way to go.

I am sure others will have links, videos, and websites to recommend so I will not steal their thunder.

Hello Tomo,

A magazine you might want to look out for at Whole Foods is "Yoga and Joyful LIving"  www.yogaplus.org This month they have a great article on Therapy for your Knees. They have very clear pictures and the alignment directions are great. The articles are focused in inner awareness and there are excellent recipes for the summer months ahead.

I look forward to seeing you in the studio enjoy your practice and enjoy disovering the hidden adventures that lies inside your body.

Peace

Nicole
