I mostly use the Plano location which has two yoga rooms. Because of this it has a more complicated schedule - one that I find a bit confusing. I've come up with one that I'd like to propose.  I find it simpler, and was wondering if anybody else does too.

Here's the link to my suggested schedule:

Chris,

Thanks for the visual. Very easy to understand what you are proposing. The name and color only scheme is exactly what we used on our old site. Independent of attempting to combine the small and large room on the same cell, I think the clarity is about the same; just my opinion looking at both of them side to side. Now if we did try to put them together, the old scheme is definitely easier to implement. Back to that in a minute.

We originally tried the Saturday and Sunday on the same lines as the weekday schedule and kept having students show up during the week for the weekend slots. "Oh I thought there was an 8am during the week". Separating them seemed to do the trick for others.

Back to the two rooms on the same grid: As we add more classes and times I am not sure the layout scales. If we ever stagger the times we are back the problem described with the weekend classes. In addition it gets crowded fast if we have classes in both rooms all day long. Moreover, what happens if we ever have a studio with 3 rooms?

Nonetheless, I still get your point and would love to have others weigh in. Nothing is set in stone.

Great topic!!!

Brandon

I've done something similar, but with a excel spreadsheet. I move around the city, so I'll attend any of the north dallas studios with a week or so. I created a spreadsheet that has the schedules and classes of Plano, Preston/Beltline and Preston/Forest.. then color coded the classes. So if I want a 4:30 wood class or a 6:15 water class, I can tell at a glance which studio to go to.

if I knew how to attach it to thes note i would :-)

Don't like the new format online.  Also, the color scheme [light blue with white imprinting] makes it very difficult to read.

I guess this illustrates that we all view things differently. I find the previous display easy to understand and comprehend all in a single view. I find the new layout very difficult to comprehend. It takes me much longer to figure out which class is when and where. I find my self doing lots of scrolling up and down just to take it in.
