Will there be a 500 hour intensive teacher training this winter?

Yes, the last 500-hour intensive for 2008 begins September 28th and lasts for 8 weeks. See our Teacher Training page for details.

Another question regarding the 500 hr intensive:  is it possible to do the 6am Fire at one's home studio, then go help get the kids ready for school before joining the 8am meditation at the training center?

Unfortunately, no. In order to qualify for Yoga Alliance certification, technique hours must be attended in a teaching environment devoted to that purpose and cannot be open to regular students.
