Rather than focusing on a particular weight and monitoring changes from an arbitrary value, we believe the essential thing is to simply experience the changes in your body as you practice and appreciate the associated benefits, which you seem to be doing. Its difficult to say what specifically might be happening with you at this stage. Bear in mind muscle and fat are different density tissue, that you probably are converting some fat to muscle through this process, and that if you are getting underway with a fitness program more changes of a similar nature will continue to take place.
Our students consistently report that through a regular practice of yoga over time, their bodies reach a weight that is appropriate to them.
