I was thrilled to see a Sunstone sign in a shopping center off of MacArthur in Irving, Texas, when I was out running errands during lunch today.  I am so excited that it will be so close to my new office.  Does anyone have an idea of when this location is expected to open?  I plan to use htis as an opportunity to recommit to a 3 to 5 class per week schedule! -- Beth

Hi Beth,

My name is Amanda MacLeod and I will be operating the Sunstone Yoga in Las Colinas.  We are progressing very well through the construction process and I would estimate being open in around a month.  This time frame may vary of course so if you would'nt mind sending me your email address I would love to keep you informed as we grow closer to opening date.  My email is amandamacleod@sunstoneyoga.com.  I look forward to meeting you and sharing in your love of yoga.  It will be nice to have an experienced student in the room at our new location!

All the best,

Amanda

I was really excited to see the new location too. I currently live in Plano and have been spoiled with Preston Center being blocks from where I live. I needed to move to Las Colinas to be closer to work and was worried that I might not be able to get myself to drive into Dallas, Flower Mound or Southlake for a class, at least not 2 to 3 times a week. Then I noticed the new location pop up across the street from my office, and less than three miles from my new home. Can't wait to see what the class schedule will look like!

I'm glad to see the enthusiasm for the Irving location! Two observations:

1. We try our best to get our studios open as quickly as possible once they're under construction. However, during construction there are a number of things beyond our control or even the control of our contractors that make predicting an opening date almost impossible, which is why we don't give completion dates.  Best thing to do is give Amanda your email address and to watch our announcements in our newsletters as we get closer to opening.

2. Studios initially open under what we refer to as a "soft schedule" in which the number, type, and frequency of classes are reduced from a fully operational schedule. This period can last anywhere from a few weeks to two months depending on how everything "burns in" and settles down. So during the soft opening period you will not see the same availability of classes you may be used to seeing at our other fully operational locations but rest assured Irving will be offering a full schedule just as soon as possible!

GREAT studio that is so close to our home.  Irving has needed a yoga studio for a LONG time.  I am new to Sunstone (13 classes since Aug 31) and I LOVE it!  I'm thrilled we have Sunstone here.
