I'm currently in Baton Rouge for over a month for work, and boy am I missing my yoga! I've been walking a lot, so at least I'm getting some exercise and fresh air, but I haven't had time to look for a studio here; and even if I found one, I'm not sure I'd have time to go to classes. Work's keeping me pretty busy, which is great, but it leaves less time for unwinding each day. I tried doing some poses on the floor of the house I'm sitting, but the cat here has fleas and they are in the rugs--ugh.

That's all. I just wanted to say I miss you.

Nicole,
Hi, I got back yesterday! I am sorry to say my time in Baton Rouge was pretty awful. There were good moments of course, but I wasn't very happy there. It was stressful! I didn't get as much exercise as I hoped to (because of the fear of being run down by traffic in no-sidewalk areas), the house I was sitting had many problems, ranging from irritating to quite worrisome, and I ate a lot of sugar and other foods that I don't normally eat.

I am so relieved to be home, but I'm not really feeling any more happy and relaxed yet, despite the beautiful weather. Hotel McGougan is reopening its doors (we have a weakness for human strays), but I'm not ready for more houseguests, especially when our own clutter is driving me up the wall.
I think I need a good cleanse, mentally and physically. I am looking forward to reaping the benefits of yoga once again.

Perhaps I might see you on Friday at Plano 1:15pm 84 asanas. It might be the whipping back into shape you need

I think Wood on Sunday whipped me pretty hard. I couldn't move for 2 days after that! I finally felt good enough yesterday to go to a Fire. It went better than I expected, but it was still pretty tough. My butt and hip flexors are tighttighttight. I'll aim at coming on Friday and you can finish me off.
